Look who's come!!

A couple of days in Reading to meet the Tz family
and we were whacked! Not used to city life anymore;
all those shops with lots of apparent choice but none really
quite flummoxed me. How much more probably for the
returnees.
Leisurely trip home stopping at various places, including a delightful garden
in Alkerton. Reading an-unreadable book by Doris Lessing now in the
'I've begun, so I'll continue' mode.
And Saturday night was a 65th birthday bash for the butcher, with a marquee
and all the village invited. Free drink, free food, with donations to the Air Ambulance
the most popular charity hereabouts, other than endless fund-raising for
the nine churches.
Air Ambulance........MAF............must be a link here somewhere.

More Welsh scenes

Here are some people you may recognise that
we met up with on our sojourn in Wales,
and some that may be new to you.

We had three extra nights after our swift visit
home for prior engagements, and had more time
for reading and walking and listening to
something called Audial Beauty...................

Wales

We have been on holiday in Wales on the slopes of Cader
Idris. In fact we still are, only having popped back for one night
to do some commitments.

For Wales, the weather has been absolutely brilliant. We have
spent nearly every day walking and reading.

No wonder we decided to go back. Who needs to live anywhere else
in the world with scenery like this?
