Sunshine sometimes

A week ago we went for a walk in chilly sunshine at Sibdon Carwood. Frozen ground and just as well otherwise we'd have been ankle deep in mud. Tomorrow we're going to look for some more sun.

Christmas Wednesday

It was meant to be Auntie Pippa's craft day, but in the event she was poorly and brought her bed downstairs. Her three nieces snuggled in too.

Our Christmas day was postponed to the Monday and began with the children opening their stockings, proper cut-up tight jobs they were too, in the traditional manner. Nothing else has the right squidgy feel at the foot of the bed. I never did find out if that's where they were found..........
